No job is too small and we undertake traffic impact studies for various developments and applications.
The applications range from accommodation facilities such as aged care, child care, health care to retail and commercial offices and shops to eateries such as take away, small cafes and restaurants.
We also cover the industrial applications such as factories and warehouses to nightlife nightclubs and bars to places of worship such as churches, mosques, temples, etc. Other applications such as schools and educational premises to residential developments are also undertaken.
Traffic Studies
Traffic Surveys include counting the volume of traffic passing through an intersection or section of road frontage to the proposed development. Generally AM, Midday, and PM peak traffic surveys are undertaken. We use state of the art traffic engineering software to assess and analyse the road network and intersections associated with the proposed use to justify the feasibility of the proposed development.
Car Parking Studies
Car Parking Surveys include counting the volume of cars parked in the surrounding streets and public parking areas at specific times during the operation of the proposed development. Several survey samples are taken. We use state of the art traffic engineering software to assess and analyse the parking availability for the proposed use to justify the feasibility of the proposed development.
Car Parking Layout Assessment & Certification
Car Parking Layout Certification includes assessing the parking layout and designs to meet Australian Standards AS2890.1-2004 Off-Street Car Parking Facilities, AS2890.2-2002 Commercial Vehicle Facilities. We use state of the art traffic engineering software to assess and analyse parking layout access driveways, car space dimensions, sight distances, loading and unloading areas, light and heavy vehicle turning path templates for realistic maneuverability.
Sight Distance Assessments & Certification
Sight Distance Certification includes assessing the level of sight available to vehicles accessing and exiting driveways or garages to meet Australian Standards AS2890.1-2004 Off-Street Car Parking Facilities. We use state of the art traffic engineering software to assess and analyse the level of sight available and justify the safety reasons to achieve an acceptable level of sight to pedestrians and oncoming vehicles.
